IF YOU WAIT LONG ENOUGH.....

many many moons ago, when i was but a mere child, scootering magazine formed a scooter club.
called the old bastards sc you had to be over 24 to join. i was way off that age.
for years i wanted to belong. to be able to wear that patch.
then it ended...disbanded. not entirely sure why....just did. people grew older, moved away from the scene, did the wife and kids thing. my dreams (or one small part of them) ended with it.
but now it's back! ressurected, the phoenix has risen from the flames. and now i'm old enough to join.....well, quite a way past to be honest! i now await the arrival of my patch, badge and certificate of membership. and all for £10. which is the same as what it cost to join 20 years or so ago! thats what i call a recession busting bargain! I'M AN OLD BASTARD AND PROUD!
